Who will you be working with on Team Auburn?
Desiree Porter, MS, BCBA, LABA
Clinical Director
Desiree is a Licensed and Board Certified in Behavior Analyst. She received her undergraduate degree in clinical psychology from New England College in 2018 and my master’s degree in ABA from Bay Path University in 2021. She has been in this field since 2018 starting as a Behavior Technician and working her way to a lead. She has worked with a diverse population in a range of settings, including in-home and center-based. She feels there is something special about watching and learning from these young children and is grateful to witness their growth! When not working, you will find her spending time with her husband, their 4 children (3 boys and 1 girl), and their 3 dogs!
Kathy Dussault
Family Liaison
Kathy began her journey in 2024 as a Behavior Technician (BT) and has since advanced to a Lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This experience, along with her passion for working with children, inspired her to return to school, where she is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree with plans to continue on to a master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She is dedicated to supporting both staff, children, and the families.
Ashley White, Psy.D.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Dr. White is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. She joined Autism Care Partners in 2023. Dr. White graduated from William James College in 2019 and has a strong clinical background in the areas of multicultural and global mental health and treatment of trauma in children and families. Dr. White enjoys working with children and conducting psychological assessments to better support children in their ability to grow and thrive across settings.
Nicole Matysiak-Phillips, MA, CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Kayla earned a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Xavier University of Louisiana. Kayla has worked across various school districts, providing services to children with communication needs. Kayla is committed to fostering meaningful communication growth in her clients. She prioritizes therapy that is both engaging and functional, with the goal of helping each child build confidence and carry their communication skills into everyday life.
Alexandra Silva, MS, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Alex earned her master’s in occupational therapy from Bay Path University in Longmeadow, MA. Shortly after, she became a Licensed and Board Certified Occupational Therapist in 2023. Alex has previous experience working with children in a virtual setting within the school system as well as working with the geriatric population in a skilled nursing facility. Alex brings clinical experience across the lifespan and enjoys helping clients reach their goals by collaborating with team members and finding creative solutions, so each client is as successful in everyday life as possible. Alex has experience with socioemotional regulation and using holistic play-based approaches to interventions. Alex joined the ACP team in 2024.
