Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the scientific study of behavior that uses positive reinforcement to help clients learn. The goals of ABA include increasing adaptive behaviors, such as communication, independence, and social interactions, and decreasing interfering behaviors, such as aggression and eloping (wandering or running away).

Meet team Danvers
Amanda DaCova, M.S., BCBA, LABA
Clinical Director
Amanda is a Board Certified and Licensed Behavior Analyst with a passion and commitment to improve the lives of children and their families. Amanda has her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with a concentration in childhood clinical disorders from Endicott College. She has worked with a diverse population of individuals in a variety of settings, including special education, public school, home-based, and center-based settings. Amanda collaborates with families, educators, and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each child. Amanda strives to empower children to reach their full potential, and her approach is compassionate and rooted in the principles of ABA.
Lydia Vilaca
Family Liaison
Lydia started her journey with Autism Care Partners as a Senior RBT, where she had the opportunity to build strong connections with both clients and families while growing her clinical and leadership skills. After some time, she transitioned into a Lead RBT role, supporting team collaboration, mentoring staff, and helping create a functional and welcoming environment for everyone involved. Today, she works as a Senior Family Liaison, where she combines her passion for advocacy and compassionate care to support families throughout their journey. She values creating an organized, welcoming, and supportive environment where both staff and families feel comfortable, heard, and connected. What she loves most about her role is being able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families we serve.
