Join our team

Our team is grounded in clinical excellence, driven by a collaborative spirit, and guided by optimism and hope for every child’s future. We foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected, valued, and heard, and we hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards in everything we do.

Our Promise

At Autism Care Partners (ACP), we are committed to fostering an environment of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Belonging (DEIJB) in all aspects of our service delivery. We recognize that every individual, regardless of their background or identity, deserves access to quality and culturally sensitive care and our internal stakeholders deserve a workplace that embraces the same.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the scientific study of behavior that uses positive reinforcement to help clients learn. The goals of ABA include increasing adaptive behaviors, such as communication, independence, and social interactions, and decreasing interfering behaviors, such as aggression and eloping (wandering or running away).

Psychology internships and training opportunities

Autism Care Partners is proud to offer a variety of training opportunities for interns. We are committed to providing high quality training and supervision for pre-doctoral and post-doctoral psychology interns. We are currently an APPIC member internship site.

We also partner with local graduate programs, such as William James College, the University of Rhode Island, and Johnson and Wales University to provide intern with practicum training in psychology and social work.

Questions to consider

Becoming an RBT—is this the right fit for me?

Working as a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is demanding and rewarding work. The role is the right fit for someone who loves working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Technician, you will work one-on-one with children, record data on your client’s session, and work collaboratively with your supervisor to gauge the child’s progress on their goals

A Day in the Life of an RBT—what should I expect?

A Technician collaborates with their BCBA to execute the treatment plan tailored to meet each client’s specific goals. This might include potty training, pairing or building rapport, reinforcing positive behavior and blocking negative behavior, like self-harm.

What are the typical responsibilities of an RBT?

Every day looks different for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at ACPBecause our sessions are led by the child’s motivations, you will work on the client’s goals in a variety of ways. Typical activities include reading, coloring, playing with peers, and more. During all of these fun activities, you will record data on the child’s progress to reach their goals such as improved social skills, using the potty, and lessening self-injurious behavior.

What to expect as a BCBA.

At ACP, our BCBAs play a crucial role in ensuring our services match our core values of collaboration, inclusion, ethics, clinical excellence, and optimism & hope. To reward this dedication, ACP’s BCBAs can expect low caseloads, CEUs, an obtainable bonus structure, and support in their professional growth.

With almost two years at ACP, I have never been more grateful to be part of the ACP team. The team in Danvers has continuously poured support and encouragement towards my future career and have been guiding me throughout each process. They have been extremely helpful in my journey and made my time here very valuable. I started my role as a BT and with their substantial support, I became a mentee for ACP. As my journey continues, I know my future is set on the right path to success. ACP has provided me all the tools, resources and outpouring support to continue my career.

Justin Wyatt, AVP of Market DevelopmentCT

Autism Care Partners is an amazing company to work for! As a clinician, I have grown so much here and have had opportunities to collaborate across disciplines and learn from such knowledgeable clinicians in their fields. It is so great to work in a center, where the staff are supportive of one another, care so much for the children and truly want to see them succeed! There is also plenty of support from a team of SLPs across other sites as well, where we frequently meet to discuss and problem-solve specific cases, share a variety of therapy materials and strategies, etc.
