Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the scientific study of behavior that uses positive reinforcement to help clients learn. The goals of ABA include increasing adaptive behaviors, such as communication, independence, and social interactions, and decreasing interfering behaviors, such as aggression and eloping (wandering or running away).Â
Diagnostic Evaluations
Our licensed, doctoral-level clinical psychologists conduct comprehensive clinical psychological evaluations with the goal of helping children, adolescents, and young adults better understand their unique strengths and weaknesses.Â
Social Work (virtual through Pariva Health)
We are delighted to have partnered with Pariva Health to develop a family support program—available to families at any time in their journey. Meet team Holyoke
Corinne Holland, MA, BCBA, LABA
Senior Clinical Director
Meet Corinne! Corinne is a Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She is the Senior Clinical Director at our Holyoke, MA location. Corinne has been a BCBA for 12 years and has over 20 years’ experience working with children with Autism.
Melissa King
Senior Family Liaison
Melissa is a psychology graduate and started her career as an RBT in Florida. She has worked both in-home and in-center ABA programs with ages 2-10. She moved to the Senior Family Liaison position to connect with and work more closely with families to connect them to services needed for their children. She has found immense pleasure in seeing the progress among the children Autism Care Partners works with.
Angie Gheen M.S., OTR/L
Senior Occupational Therapist
Angie is a Registered and Licensed Occupational Therapist. She graduated from Bay Path University with her master’s degree in occupational therapy in Longmeadow, MA. Angie has experience working in early intervention, inpatient mental health, as well as working in an outpatient ABA clinic. She joined the Autism Care Partners team in November 2024 at our Holyoke, MA center. Angie brings her knowledge of supporting increased client
independence in gross, fine, and visual motor skills, daily living skills, and improved sensory regulation through child-led, play-based activities. She is a Certified Educator of Infant Massage and hopes to integrate these techniques into her daily treatment sessions. Angie also specializes in Feeding Therapy using oral motor and sensory based strategies.
Joanna Miles Ed.D.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Miles has worked with children of all ages and abilities for 23 years and has been supporting children at ACP since 2023. She began her career in the Holyoke Public Schools in 2001 where she held a variety of positions, including School Psychologist, Lead School Psychologist, and Assistant Director of Special Education. Dr. Miles holds advanced degrees in Clinical Psychology and Educational Psychology, and currently works full-time as a school Psychologist in CT. She resides in Agawam, MA with her husband, two children, and many pets!
