Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the scientific study of behavior that uses positive reinforcement to help clients learn. The goals of ABA include increasing adaptive behaviors, such as communication, independence, and social interactions, and decreasing interfering behaviors, such as aggression and eloping (wandering or running away).Â

Stephanie Norris, M.Ed., BCBA, LABA
Senior Clinical Director
Stephanie has a master’s in education and behavior analysis and bachelor’s in elementary education. She has been a BCBA since 2021, in the field of ABA since 2017, and working with children and toddlers since 2011. She has worked with a wide range of ages, cultures, and severity of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Her passion is to not only support these children and their families but foster learning and growth for the staff that work with them.
Miguel Pena
Senior Family Liaison
Miguel Pena is a dedicated and compassionate individual serving as a Senior Family Liaison for the Lawrence location at Autism Care Partners. With a strong passion for making a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families affected by Autism, Miguel strives to be the best version of himself in order to provide exceptional support to clients and families. Driven by a genuine desire to help others, Miguel goes above and beyond to ensure that families feel supported, informed, and empowered through their journey. Through effective communication and active listening, he establishes meaningful connections with families, understanding their unique needs and concerns.
