Providence, July 14, 2022 – Autism Care Partners (“ACP”) continues to expand services to families throughout Rhode Island by increasing its center space in Warwick. ACP is one of the most scaled Autism providers serving families in the Northeast.
“During my time at the Warwick center, it has been a privilege to watch our clients grow and succeed through our integrated approach to care which includes Applied Behavior Analysis, speech and language services, occupational therapy, feeding therapy, diagnostic evaluations, and social work. With the expansion of the Warwick center, we look forward to growing our team and providing exceptional care to more families in our community” said Nicole Dodd, managing BCBA of the newly expanded Warwick center.
In addition to our core interdisciplinary services, ACP’s treatment program also utilizes The Visual Immersion System™ (VIS™), a proprietary and innovative program co developed with Boston Children’s Hospital’s Autism Language Program, across the enterprise. TheVIS™, an evidence-based intervention, differentially improves communication and learning for individuals on the autism spectrum through the use of a technology-supported, visual based, treatment framework.
“With the increasing prevalence of ASD diagnosis, we at ACP are grateful to be part of the solution to Rhode Island families by increasing access to evidence-based care,” said Andrea Lavigne, regional vice president of Autism Care Partners.
On July 27th at 4:00 p.m., Warwick Mayor, Frank J. Picozzi, will officiate a ribbon cutting ceremony at an expansion event. In addition to local officials, ACP happily welcomes families, academic and medical partners, health plan colleagues and community members to its new center space to learn about ACP and its comprehensive suite of interdisciplinary services.
Founded in 1992 as an Early Intervention Provider in New York City, Autism Care Partners has evolved to become a recognized leader in the delivery of comprehensive behavioral therapy to individuals on the autism spectrum. ACP provides diagnostic evaluations, early intervention services, applied behavior analysis, speech therapy, occupational therapy, social work, and the Visual Immersion System™ to individuals on the autism spectrum, and their families, through its center, home, and school-based practices.
